Finally, mercifully done with Texas! After a great dinner (they know a thing or two about how to do steaks in El Paso) and a great night's sleep at Hacienda Hansen, it's chorizo and eggs for breakfast in New Mexico! This morning just after dawn we left Texas, thundered across the New Mexico line, and crossed both the Rio Grande and the Continental Divide. Tombstone by around lunch, if all goes according to plan. Both bike and rider doing well. PS...(whispered) there's lots of people speaking Spanish all around me!
