Day one complete. Recovering in Mobile's world famous Wintzell's Oyster House on Dauphin Street. Established in 1938, they do oysters any way you can think of having them. For me it's Rockefeller, Monterrey, and good, old char-grilled. Washing it all down with a pint of the local brew called "Haint Blue IPA". I'm hoping it protects me from evil. That's what I'm hoping, anyway.
