Just so you know...
My Statement of Faith
I sincerely believe that there is a God and that He exists eternally in three forms, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
I believe that He created us, loves us, and desires a relationship with us all.
I believe that God speaks to us through His word, the Holy Bible, which I believe was divinely inspired and is both infallible and authoritative.
I believe that sin has separated us from God and that such a separation dooms us to eternal damnation and, as is the case with any father separated from his children, God was willing to do anything to re-establish our relationship with Him and save us from death and hell.
I believe that Jesus Christ is the son of the living God, that he was incarnate by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, lived a sinless and miraculous life, and that He died as a sacrifice, in our place, for our sins.
I believe that on the third day, He rose again, walked among us, ascended into Heaven, and is now seated at the right hand of the Father. I believe He will come again in glory to judge us all and that His kingdom will have no end.
I believe in the daily presence and ministry of the Holy Spirit, enabling us to live lives pleasing to God if we so choose to draw upon His strength.
I believe that it is our duty each day to read His word, to pray for His guidance, and to try as best we can to live upright lives and do good works that might be pleasing to Him. That kind of good works includes making it our mission to share our faith with others, in the hope that they, too might be saved, and ministering to our fellow Christians in their times of need so that their faith should not waver.
I believe I was called to take on this mission and ministry.
